Provides primary psychiatric and medical care to assigned patients of Richmond State Hospital. This position works under the leadership of the Medical Director and collaboratively with the Treatment Center Director and other professional disciplines.
Requirements
Hold a degree of medicine or osteopathic medicine accredited by the Liaison Committee on Medical Education and American Medical Association or American Osteopathic Association approved
Complete an approved post-graduate training program fully accredited by the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education, American Osteopathic Association, or successor agency to an equivalent professionally recognized accrediting body
Must have a current valid license to practice medicine in the State of Indiana.
Must have a current valid Indiana Controlled Substance Registration Certificate.
Must have a current valid Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) number.
Must have be Board certified/eligible in Psychiatry
Minimum of 2 years clinical working experience
Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint;
Skill in analyzing situations, evaluate information and recommend course of action;
Proof of three years of psychiatric residency training by recognized and approved training program
