Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced a Senior Developer to support the implementation, configuration, enhancement, and ongoing maintenance of the Deltek Costpoint ERP platform. This role requires a highly collaborative professional who can partner with business stakeholders, technical teams, and project leadership to deliver scalable, high-quality solutions that support organizational objectives.
The ideal candidate has extensive hands-on experience with Deltek Costpoint, strong functional expertise across financial modules, and a proven ability to lead system implementations, troubleshoot complex issues, and mentor team members.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain strong relationships with business stakeholders to understand operational needs and translate them into functional system solutions.
- Gather, analyze, and document business requirements and develop functional specifications for Costpoint enhancements and implementations.
- Configure and support Deltek Costpoint, including:
- General Ledger (GL)
- Accounts Payable (AP)
- Accounts Receivable (AR)
- Perform back-end Costpoint configuration, including:
- System administration
- Security roles
- User setup
- Organizational structures
- Workflows
- Approval routing
- Application parameter configuration
- Collaborate with developers, engineers, and technical teams on integrations, customizations, data migration, and interface validation following Deltek best practices.
- Analyze change requests and recommend system improvements and enhancements.
- Participate in system design, configuration, testing (SIT/UAT), defect resolution, and production deployments.
- Develop, maintain, and support complex system components.
- Perform unit testing and system testing, resolve defects, and validate successful implementations.
- Provide production support, perform root cause analysis, troubleshoot functional issues, and coordinate resolutions across business and IT teams.
- Create user documentation, training materials, and deliver end-user training.
- Mentor team members on best practices, coding standards, and solution delivery.
- Conduct code reviews when applicable and support quality assurance efforts.
- Participate in on-call support as needed and proactively monitor system performance.
- Coordinate with other IT teams to ensure successful implementation and ongoing support of enterprise applications.
- Lead workshops, facilitate stakeholder meetings, and support multiple concurrent initiatives.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 5+ years of hands-on experience implementing and supporting Deltek Costpoint in a functional consulting role.
- Strong functional expertise supporting Costpoint financial modules, including GL, AP, and AR.
- Experience with Costpoint system administration and back-end configuration.
- Demonstrated experience gathering business requirements and translating them into functional solutions.
- Experience supporting full lifecycle ERP implementations, upgrades, and enhancements.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience collaborating with cross-functional business and technical teams.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

- Experience with multiple Business Intelligence tools.
- Experience working across multiple databases and enterprise applications.
- Experience leading small projects or project teams.
- Experience mentoring team members and providing technical guidance.
- Experience supporting integrations, data migration, and enterprise ERP environments.
- Multiple successful full lifecycle Deltek Costpoint implementations.
